The B List: Social Media Kit

ree

Now, let's apply that "one main thing" focus to how you present your art and yourself online.

Upping your visual game on social media and your website doesn't require a professional studio. Here are three tools that will immediately elevate your image and presentation:

  1. iPhone Camera's Cinematic Mode: Ditch shaky, amateur video. Your iPhone's Cinematic Mode offers a professional, shallow depth-of-field look that will make make your videos pop.

  2. Ring Light & Tripod: Good lighting is non-negotiable. An 18-inch light ring (or larger!) will ensure you're well-lit and vibrant. Remember, light drops off quickly, so keep your face and your art close (within 3-4 feet) of the light source.

  3. Lavalier Microphone: Clear audio is crucial. A wireless lavalier microphone ensures you sound great, whether you're filming indoors or out. (If you've noticed the yellow smiley face on my shirt, that’s the mic. Yep that small.)

These simple tools will make a monumental difference in how you and your art is perceived. Head over to my Amazon storefront for the Neewer ring light and Hollyland mic used every day for my social media..
