Service Description

You will: • Experiment with simple shapes—lines, dots, splotches, and scribbles—as your core visual vocabulary. • Embrace spontaneous gestures and limited colors to express your artistic voice. • Adopt simplicity, learning to work with seemingly basic ideas, and gestures that naturally infuse your art with joy and dynamic movement. • Develop a confident, yet curious, hand, mind, and eye, that will build your studio practice into a creative laboratory where experimentation and discovery thrive. • Explore mediums, tools and techniques. • Learn how to make your art bigger and looser. • Practice working in a series. • Set intention as you begin creating. • Create unique, personal art that is different from others. • Leave with a plan to continue your growth and development. The mornings include guided exercises and group discussion. Afternoons are time to work independently. Work with acrylic & water-soluble mediums.
