LEARN HOW TO BE MORE CREATIVE and HOW TO MOVE THROUGH LIFE AS AN ARTIST. Rocket your artistry to a whole new level. The focus growing your artistic voice, with open time in Studio Raven to create large abstracts. Get clear about who you are and why you create. Focus on your purpose and your work. Lean into what you feel… what you create… what you express. You Will Develop: • Visual Vocabulary: Experiment with simple shapes—lines, dots, splotches, and scribbles—as your core visual vocabulary. Embrace spontaneous gestures and limited colors to express your artistic voice. • Playful Unlearning: Embrace simplicity, learning to work with seemingly basic ideas, and gestures that naturally infuse your art with joy and dynamic movement. • Confident Curiosity: Develop a confident, yet curious, hand, mind, and eye, transforming your studio practice into a creative laboratory where experimentation and discovery thrive. During the workshop: • Explore the meaning of “artistic voice” and why it matters to you and your art. Define/refine your artist voice. • Develop a confident artistic hand, mind, and eye, ready to chart your creative path. • One-on-one time with the instructor to identify strengths, challenges and limiting beliefs, and learn how to redefine/refocus. • Lots of self-directed paint time. • Daily warm up, assignments, and instructor demos. • Develop a plan for your dedicated practice that will allow it to continue to evolve after the workshop. • Network with other artists. Mornings include exercises to warm up and get into the creative zone. Afternoons are time to work independently. Work with acrylic & water-soluble mediums. Work on large unstretched canvas on painting walls, and/or stretched canvas on easels. Take home studies on paper, & finished work canvas. October 14, 3-5 PM, meet, set up October 16-19, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM workshop Studio open 9 AM - 5:30 PM Registration includes lunch, refreshments. Limited to 7 students. For Level 2 and Level 3 artists. • Level 2 -- Intermediate. Understands the concepts, medium and tools of abstract expression. Desire to take their art from good to great. • Level 3 -- Mastery. Career professional artists with a regular studio practice. Desire to explore and mature their visual voice. Cancellation Policy

Keeping your financial information secure is absolutely our top priority. Please contact us if you prefer to pay by check or money order • A minimum of 10 students is required per workshop. If the minimum is not met 30 days before the start date, the workshop may be cancelled. Students will be notified via email. A full refund will be issued. It is recommended that student not make non-refundable travel or lodging arrangement prior to 30 days • If Santa Fe Artists Getaway cancels the workshop for any reason, students shall receive a full refund • Student cancellations must be submitted in writing, and received by btoddarts@gmail.com • Cancellations made 31 days before the first day of class receive a full refund, less a $100 processing fee • Any cancellations made 30 days or less in advance of the first day will receive no refund, unless there is a wait list and another student takes that place; then the student shall receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee • No refund, credits or transfers will be applied on or after the workshop start date • No refund, credit or make-up will be offered for missed days • A $100 fee will be charged on all returned checks
