The potential of creative destruction is a way to break through blocks and unearth something truly extraordinary.
The Prompt: Destroy something that holds a memory. It could be a personal possession, a love letter, a dried flower, a photograph, a book, a piece of clothing... anything goes. Consider the act as part of your art process. Smash, tear, burn, melt—whatever feels right.
The Twist: After you destroy it, use the remnants to create something new. This could be a collage, a sculpture, a painting, a poem, or anything your imagination conjures.
Reflect: What did you learn from this process? How did it make you feel?
My thoughts as a coach: This prompt isn't just about making art; it's about confronting emotions, letting go, and finding beauty in unexpected places. It's a powerful way to tap into your subconscious and discover hidden layers of your creativity.
