HANDS ON EXERCISE Supply List – Have everything set up and ready to go. • Sketchbook or notebook for taking notes & scribbles. • Paper – 3 sheets of water color or mixed media. Size 9 x 12 or 11 x 14. Lay all 3 sheets in a row. You may use artist tape or blue tape around the edges and/or tape to the paper to the table/painting wall. • Paint – titanium white, neutral gray & 2 colors (1 warm, 1 cool. e.g. ultramarine blue & cadmium orange). Have the paint set out on a mixing palette ready to use. • 1 paint mixing tool – spatula or spoon. • 2 brushes – 1 small/thin, 1 larger/thick • 1 pencil or graphite. • 1 color marker (Woody, Posca, Crayon) • 1 scraping tool, like a shaper or credit card • 1 bucket of water for your brushes About - Beverly Todd is an anything-but-usual abstract artist, creativity coach, and workshop leader. She founded Santa Fe Artist Getaway in 2019 to give artists the space and place to grow in their creativity.
