Jane Burton janeburtonart.com Jane has been a maker since childhood, loving to experiment and get dirty doing it. She holds a degree in fine art with an emphasis in painting and studied under Wayne Thiebaud, an incredible teacher and human being. A career in the corporate world quickly moving away from the creative and into management. But she soon returned to the creative world. In 2004, she began to turn away from a world and give voice to her true nature and first love – art. Julie Tarsha, Assistant julietarsha.com I paint to capture the mystery that I experienced as a child in a world so much larger than myself. Layers of acrylic paint, graphite and artist crayon build into a visual dialogue on giant sheets of unstretched canvas tacked to my studio walls.
