Service Description

Put the "wow" into how you write and talk about yourself and your art. You'll explore what's unique and interesting about YOU and develop that into your personal and powerful message. Work with a writer/editor to polish your story. You'll develop 2-3 pages of copy that can be cut and pasted into artist statements, presentations, and elevator speeches. You'll also develop a three-minute artist talk, create talking points, and update copy for your artist's statement and bio. You'll create a branding and marketing plan unique to you. And leave with your own personal marketing toolkit. Connect with your artist tribe. Share information and ideas about your visual voice & connect with audiences about what you do. Learn from each other and network. This is a Zoom workshop (with sessions recorded). We meet as a group, April 28, 29, 30, from 10 AM to 12 Noon, mountain time. Each person also receives a 30-minute, one-on-one coaching Zoom session each day with Beverly. Max participants: 10 Beverly Todd Beverly is Chief Getaway Artist at Santa Fe Artist Getaway. After 25 years as a corporate executive, Beverly returned to art undertaking master studies with several of the country’s leading abstract teachers. She now blends and shares her passions - fine art, art-based learning, mentoring and leadership development - through Santa Fe Artist Getaway. In 2018, Beverly began painting in Santa Fe, and wanted to give other creatives the same experience, opening Santa Fe Artist Getaway in 2020. Through large-scale abstract painting, Beverly interprets nature. Connects with ideas. And explores emotion. Her painting process is physical, using hardware-store brushes. Broken sticks. Rags. And hands. To move paint. To add layers. To pull back layers. To drip. To scrape and wipe. And to pull the paint across the surface. Beverly grew up in rural America near Union, Nebraska. Often happily lost for hours in the open prairie landscape that inspires her work today. Beverly is a member of the Creativity Coaching Association.

Cancellation Policy

Payment and Refund Policy • Enrollment is only guaranteed with registration and full payment • We use PayPal and QuickBooks for your online payment and refunds. Keeping your financial information secure is absolutely our top priority. Please contact us if you prefer to pay by check or money order • The full payment must be received 30 days before the first day of the workshop • A minimum of 10 students is required per workshop. If the minimum is not met 30 days before the start date, the workshop will be cancelled. Students will be notified via email. A full refund will be issued. It is recommended that student not make non-refundable travel or lodging arrangement prior to 30 days • If Santa Fe Artists Getaway cancels the workshop for any reason, students shall receive a 100% refund • Student cancellations must be submitted in writing, and received by • Cancellations made 30 days before the first day of class receive a full refund, less a $50 processing fee • Any cancellations made less than 30 days in advance of the first day will receive no refund, unless there is a wait list and another student takes that place; then the student shall receive a 100% refund less a $50 processing fee • No refund, credits or transfers will be applied on or after the workshop start date • No refund, credit or make-up will be offered for missed days • A $50 fee will be charged on all returned checks
