Service Description

FULLY BOOKED. Add your name to the WAIT LIST by emailig The focus is on YOU. Growing your artistic voice. And giving you open time in Studio Raven to create large abstracts. Get clear about who you are and why you create. Focus on your purpose and your work. Lean into what you feel… what you create… what you express. Combine independent studio time in a large studio setting with guided creative prompts, discussion, and coaching. During the workshop, you’ll: • Explore the meaning of “artistic voice” and why it matters to you and your art. Define/refine your artist voice & artist statement. • One-on-one time with the instructor to identify strengths, challenges and limiting beliefs, and learn how to redefine/refocus. • Lots of self-directed paint time. • Daily warm up and instructor demos. • Develop a plan for your dedicated practice that will allow it to continue to evolve after the workshop. • Network with other artists. Mornings include exercises to warm up and get into the creative zone. Afternoons are time to work independently. Studio will be open evenings for those who want to continue painting. Work with acrylic & water-soluble mediums. Work on large unstretched canvas on painting walls, and/or stretched canvas on easels. Take home studies on paper, and a finished work canvas. July 28, 3 - 5 PM, meet, set up July 29 - August 1, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM workshop Studio open 9 AM - 5 PM Registration includes lunch & refreshments. Limited to 7 students. For Level 2 and Level 3 artists. • Level 1 -- Beginner. Focuses on the fundamentals -- value, form, light and shadow, color mixing, understanding the materials and approaches to abstract expressionism. Studies and emulates instructors/masters. • Level 2 -- Intermediate. Understands the concepts, medium and tools of abstract expression. Desire to take your art from good to great. • Level 3 -- Mastery. Career professional artists with a regular studio practice. Desire to explore and mature your visual voice. Beverly Todd Bev launched Santa Fe Artist Getaway in 2019 - a place for her abstract expressionist art to flourish and for all artists to stay, play, and create. A former non-profit executive, now a creative entrepreneur, abstract artist, workshop leader and creativity coach, Bev shares her passion for exploration, adventure, and creativity.

Cancellation Policy

Payment and Refund Policy • Enrollment is only guaranteed with registration and full payment • We use PayPal and QuickBooks for your online payment and refunds. Keeping your financial information secure is absolutely our top priority. Please contact us if you prefer to pay by check or money order • A minimum of 10 students is required per workshop. If the minimum is not met 30 days before the start date, the workshop may be cancelled. Students will be notified via email. A full refund will be issued. It is recommended that student not make non-refundable travel or lodging arrangement prior to 30 days • If Santa Fe Artists Getaway cancels the workshop for any reason, students shall receive a full refund • Student cancellations must be submitted in writing, and received by • Cancellations made 31 days before the first day of class receive a full refund, less a $100 processing fee • Any cancellations made 30 days or less in advance of the first day will receive no refund, unless there is a wait list and another student takes that place; then the student shall receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee • No refund, credits or transfers will be applied on or after the workshop start date • No refund, credit or make-up will be offered for missed days • A $100 fee will be charged on all returned checks
