Energizing, expressive exercises will push you into new challenges and outcomes and away from comfort zones. Instructor painting demos explore new ways to use color, tools and understand composition while providing insights on pushing past fear and painting with freedom. Plenty of open, self-directed paint time in the afternoon gives time to explore all the new things you learn. One-on-one time with the instructor will explore strengths and limitations in your work—with personal guidance given to make new choices and expand skills to support your personal art trajectory. Getaway to a beautiful venue filled with nature and solitude — and invest in a week that will inspire your work for years to come. Work in acrylics and water-based mediums. No oil. This is an intermediate/advanced abstract painting class. Sept. 25 , 3-5 PM - Meet, greet, setup Sept. 26-30, Workshop Limited to 10 students. Registration: $1,450, includes lunch. Audrey Phillips www.audreyphillips.com Delicately balanced between expressive chaos and a palatable sense of calm, the paintings of Audrey Phillips draw you in to explore the rich complexity of her work and life. Working primarily from an internal place of intuition and exploration, Phillips approaches her large canvases with the spirit of play, unburdened to the attachment of outcome, allowing the painting surface to simply and freely come. Her work has been collected by the Mayo Clinic, CSX Freight, Baptist Health MD Anderson Cancer Center, Castlelake, Anheiser-Busch, Marriott and other corporate collections. In 2019, the University of Tampa acquired a large permanent collection of 54 of her paintings. Audrey received a BFA from the University of Florida. She teaches immersive abstract workshops across the country.

Payment and Refund Policy • Enrollment is only guaranteed with registration and full payment • We use PayPal and QuickBooks for your online payment and refunds. Keeping your financial information secure is absolutely our top priority. Please contact us if you prefer to pay by check or money order • A minimum of 10 students is required per workshop. If the minimum is not met 30 days before the start date, the workshop may be cancelled. Students will be notified via email. A full refund will be issued. It is recommended that student not make non-refundable travel or lodging arrangement prior to 30 days • If Santa Fe Artists Getaway cancels the workshop for any reason, students shall receive a full refund • Student cancellations must be submitted in writing, and received by btoddarts@gmail.com • Cancellations made 31 days before the first day of class receive a full refund, less a $100 processing fee • Any cancellations made 30 days or less in advance of the first day will receive no refund, unless there is a wait list and another student takes that place; then the student shall receive a full refund less a $100 processing fee • No refund, credits or transfers will be applied on or after the workshop start date • No refund, credit or make-up will be offered for missed days • A $100 fee will be charged on all returned checks
